Group Volunteering at Camp
Groups and troops may schedule Camp Stewardship Volunteer Parties on demand (subject to camp availability.) These group volunteer opportunities may be scheduled at any camp location, with Camp River Ranch being the camp location closest to the greater Seattle metro area. Our Camp Stewardship Volunteer Parties are opportunities for 5-100 volunteers to support the thousands of Girl Scouts in Western Washington who attend camp each year by helping ensure the safety and integrity of our camp properties. Activities may include: Landscaping and gardening, painting and minor repairs, trail maintenance, cabin and facility clean-up, and more. No special skills are required—just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to help!Troops may arrange "Work Like a Beaver" work parties at camp facilities- Girl Scouts that work three hours in a day will receive a Work Like a Beaver patch. These opportunities are available to Cadette, Senior, or Ambassador level troops of 5+ volunteers. Work parties may be scheduled at any camp location, and camp stays are available at a discounted rate for stewardship volunteers.
Corporate groups and other large parties may also be interested in our Stewardship Retreat Opportunities which include opportunities to add on meals, lodging, and facilitated camp activities (archery, boating, challenge course, etc.)
